The 2015 Jeep Renegade is expected in the U.S. soon, and the folks at MotorWeek were lucky enough to test it out in the back country of San Jose, California. Their conclusion: in the spirit of the Jeep brand, the spunky new model will greatly appeal to adventurers.
The Renegade will option front- or four-wheel drive, sport two powertrain options that deliver 30 mpg on the highway, and offer plenty of off-road capabilities. Like its Cherokee sibling, the Renegade Trailhawk will feature the most rugged features for some rough-and-tumble time off the beaten path.
The funky new model is expected to be an international treasure, and frankly, we wouldn't be surprised if it is an immediate hit in America when it starts arriving at U.S. dealerships in the next few months.
