Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, producers of Jeep, confirmed the next generation of four-door Wranglers will be built with new powertrain options, including what is being called a āmild hybridā by 2019. Jeep will then double down on future fuel efficiency by releasing a Wrangler Hybrid Electric Vehicle by 2025.
The new Wrangler will also include a diesel option, which will be available in the United States for the first time. Jeep has been selling Wranglers with diesel options in different markets for some time, and previously sold Patriot and Liberty with a diesel option in the United States before being ultimately phased out.
In addition to confirming new diesel and hybrid options on Wrangler going forward, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles also announce the Dodge Dart and Chrysler had ārun their course,ā and will not be produced in the future.
Jeep has been producing quality automobiles since its beginning, and is currently one of the hottest selling brands on the road. For more information, come into Larry H. Miller Chrysler Jeep Avondale, or visit https://www.larrymillerchryslerjeepavondale.com/.
