While the model is perfectly capable and more than a little bit stylish when running errands around town, let's face the facts, where the new Jeep Wrangler Unlimited  really shows what it is made of is when drivers take the model off road, exactly what it was born to do.

Yes indeed, the new (and stylish) four-door Wrangler model is absurdly good off road, as it lengthens the already legendary Wrangler base. It comes equipped with massive 32-inch mud tires, high in class ground clearance and a decently narrow track. Also, there is an available off-roading package which includes features like steel bumpers, tow hooks, and a heavy duty transfer case.

Originally introduced in 2007 for that model year, the Wrangler Unlimited is now available in seven specific trim levels. The most off-road capable of these is the Rubicon because of its additional features. Prices range from 35 thousand dollars to 38 thousand for this model, depending upon optional features selected by the drivers.

And the model is truly unstoppable of off paved roads. Whatever conditions you decide to tackle, whether it be soft sandy beaches, crazy steep hills and mountains, rocky and rugged back country terrain, or simply some sticky mud or slick snow, this model will get you where you need to go, safely. The model is powered by an impressive 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine.
