The folks at our Jeep dealer in the Phoenix, AZ area obviously get excited when a new model sells well. That being said, we don't tend to discuss it on our Larry H. Miller Chrysler Jeep Avondale blog all that much because those sorts of stories can occasionally be a little dry. However, the 2014 Jeep Cherokee is racking up sales so quickly, we just had to fill you in on a few facts.

In November, the model's first month on the market, it recorded 10,169 deliveries around the US. That's clearly a big number, but to give you a better idea of what an achievement it truly is, the Jeep Wrangler only beat the crossover out by about a thousand units. When a new vehicle rivals the classic 4x4 that the brand has been built upon, folks tend to take notice.

December sales for the Cherokee haven't been tallied up yet, but the guys at HQ assure us that they're plenty strong. In fact, with only two full months of action for the new SUV, they've already decided to ramp up production to assemble a full 250,000 models in 2014. In order to hit that mark, the brand will take on over 1,000 more employees and the Toledo production plant in charge of making the vehicle will have to operate at full capacity.

It's big news for us Jeep brand enthusiasts, but if those industry numbers don't quite get you geared-up for the Cherokee, then we've got just the thing -- a test drive in the new ride. Stop by today and our sales team can take care of everything with you.
