Did you know that preventable injuries are the number one cause of death of children in Arizona? In fact, eighty-three percent children's deaths caused by motor vehicle accidents were ruled as preventable. Out of that eighty-three percent, thirty five percent of children were not using the correct restraints.
September is National Child Passenger Safety Month, and Larry H. Miller dealerships throughout the state of Arizona are raising awareness by holding Car Seat Safety checks. Local fire and police departments, along with volunteers from SafeKids.org will be on site to ensure people are installing their car seats correctly.
