Of all the prototypes the Jeep brand put out for the Moab Easter Safari, our favorite was none other than the Trailcat. A lifted Wrangler with some beastly enhancements, rounded out by the HEMI Hellcat engine, it set our minds ablaze about what blasting through the outback in a 707 horsepower car would be like.
In the words of the model's designer, the Trailcat is so insane, it probably shouldn't even have been built. Well, it was, and at this year's Easter Safari, they let some journalists from The Fast Lane Car take it for a spin in the outback. While the terrain was too rugged to use the brunt of the supercharged engine, it still did what it set out to do: put a smile on said reviewer's face.
Of course, not every new Jeep model is this off-the-wall bonkers, but they still have more than enough thrills to make you smile. Stop by our Avondale, AZ dealership to learn more.
