FCA's Jeep Cherokee SUV was Hacked Remotely

Due to the most recent news about a Jeep being hacked, Chrysler has taken some action on the vulnerability that has come about. There are a few options a customer that owns a Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram or Fiat can do to prevent their vehicle from being hacked. You can bring in your vehicle to a certified dealer that will run a program to upgrade the current Uconnect software. Since we are a Certified Chrysler Jeep store, we are able to buy back the vehicle from the owner. Another option is, a USB will be mailed to the owner with a patch for your vehicle.

Your Recall Options

If you own a Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram or FIAT, please review your options below regarding the recall.

  1. VIN Recall tool

    Use our VIN Recall Look-up tool to determine if your vehicle is affected by the safety concerns. There are currently two recent active recalls. There is a recall on the Uconnect software that needs to be updated. FCA has already sent out USB drives that contain a patch for the software. We strongly recommend to bring in your vehicle so we can run a full update rather than using a patch (as long as your vehicle qualifies). Another recall has been called upon regarding Airbags. If you would rather have us run your VIN to check all possible issues, please fill out the form on our website.

  2. Schedule an Appointment with a Certified Dealer

    Chrysler has provided our dealership with the appropriate tools to make sure your car is safe. Safety is our priority for all of our customers. In order to have your vehicle reviewed by our professionals, please schedule an appointment with a Service Advisor, or call (855) 230-1723. We also provide a multi-point inspection that goes beyond the recall check.

  3. Recall Buy Back Program

    We can not stress enough how important safety is to us. Therefore, if your vehicle is affected by this recall, we will buy back your vehicle.
